How do you deal with the universal human urge to be part of a larger whole? The tenacious artistic duo Frank&Robbert Robbert&Frank present their team’s third production, in which they search for meaning in a world without a “Bigger Meaning”. They use their signature approach of childlike honesty, dry wit and strong visual logic.
Frank&Robbert Robbert&Frank used to be the instigators of transformations that drove their scenes and imagery, but they evolve to become a part of their own installations and designs in Don’t we deserve grand human projects that give us meaning? Splitting and duplicating themselves like atoms, they emerge in an imaginary world of primary colours that forms a striking contrast to the pure, white landscape in which they dwell. The sensory universe they create combines a child’s curiosity with an adult hunger for science and space exploration.
